Meet Lily...Garrett. And you know Sofie.

The weather was perfect, and the kids had so much fun playing

and exploring.

Sofie had fun testing out her new walking skills. Day 3 of being a walker. Not too shabby.

But she still needed a hand every now and then.

Thank goodness for good friends.

Sweet Lily

Lovely Lily

Come. Sit. Talk.

And where was Garrett during said Girl Talk? Shooting his marshmallow gun, of course. Why? Because that's the kind of stuff boys do.

Boys are silly.

But girls just wanna have fun.

Time to pause for a snack. Oh, yes that's my kid - you know, the former non-eater - trying to steal another kid's juice box and enjoying a nice stolen cracker.

Back up and running.

On all terrain.

There's just nothing quite like enjoying a perfectly ordinary day with good friends.

My thoughts

exactly,

Lily.

I love all the pictures. What program did you use to do the black and white with Lily in color? That is so neat.
Is that park Lowenstein by chance? The picture with the bridge made me think of it.
such great pictures! love all the vibrant colors!
Those are great!! It looks like Sofie really enjoyed her day and is loving her new skill!! Lily is so sweet with her expressions and helping! BTW, love the video in the previous post, Marco loved it, he said "that's funny" to the one where she is making puppy sounds :)

I use photoshop most of the time, but these pictures were edited only with Picasa - Google's very FREE to download, very great photo program. So easy and quick to use! I'm not sure which park this is - sorry! It was one near a friend's house in L.S. It was a really great park though, and awesome place for shooting pictures!
These brought tears to my eyes (I can blame it on being pregnant, right?) I *live* for ordinary days! I love the look on Sofie's face as she's focusing on walking... it's priceless. Simply priceless!
