Maybe if I wouldn't take so many pictures, it wouldn't take me so long to sort through them and decide which ones to post. 850 pictures in October. Seriously. I have a feeling our second child will feel slighted.
We kicked off the Halloween festivities again this year by trick-or-treating at Daddy's office. Our future son-in-law, Lucas (a.k.a. Fred Flintstone), was there too. As usual, don't they look sooo into each other?
Sofie was going to be Wilma Flintstone, but when we decided they wouldn't actually be trick-or-treating together on Halloween, the whole couples costume thing didn't pan out. Once I saw how awesome Lucas looked as Fred, I was really wishing I had whipped out a Wilma for Sofie to wear to the office party. But alas, Sofie found another of her own kind to play with at the party - a puppy.

Sofie is nuts about puppies. She crawls around pretending to be one all the time and pants like a dog. How does a puppy go?
Naturally, when we saw this puppy costume, we couldn't snatch it up fast enough. There was a really cute head that went with it with long puppy dog ears, but she was having nothing of the sort on her head. I mean, a girl can't mess up her pigs wearing a silly dog head, right? So we ditched the head, and I just made her some matching bows to wear instead.

Since Halloween fell conveniently on a Saturday this year, we decided to take Sofie down to Grandma and Grandpa's to trick-or-treat. Our first stop was Nana Linda and Papa Steve's house.

After the parade, we headed out to Great-Grandpa Tucker's house and then back home for a very late dinner. It was a long day, but worth the trip!

Don't feel bad, I haven't posted my picks of Halloween yet either.
Sophia looks like the cutest puppy if you ask me!!
Looks like a lot of fun.
CUTE! And I know what you mean about pictures. I can't believe how many I've taken. Our poor second child (if I ever get brave enough to have another one) is going to feel so left out.
I'm so glad Sofie was able to trick-or-treat at the grandparent's houses and attend the parade. Normalcy at its best!
Of course, my favorite picture, is the one with Sofie bending over and her "tail" in the air! How cute is that!
