We're Back

I've really been MIA lately on posts. We've had lots going on, so there's lots to update on. I'm going to split it all up over several posts to avoid one giant megapost.

So let's go back to June...Since I was away on Father's Day this year, we decided to celebrate the weekend after as a family. Sofie and Kenny did celebrate on the real Father's Day by having dinner together at 810 Zone and then going to get some ice cream. But I wanted to be part of the celebration too!

So the next Saturday we all went out to dinner, and after that we headed out to the drive-in to watch some movies. Kenny and I just recently rediscovered the drive-in. We haven't been able to go out to the theatre to watch a movie since the summer of 2007. Before Sofie was born we used to go watch movies pretty often, so we miss doing things like that now.

We only stayed for one movie the first time we went a few weeks ago, but this time we stayed for the double feature. Rowdy, I know. But it is nice to get out and see movies somewhere other than in our living room.
